It really frustrates me when I see these people come into here to buy cigs or something and they have WADS of cash. WTF! Must be drug dealers or something but why can't we live like that? We really need our lives to change soon. I don't want us to live like this forever.

OMG! Trial was continued again...

Looks like the DICK landlord's lawyer is having the trial continued. We were supposed to have it tomorrow at 11am, but now we don't know what's going on. I just want this over and it's really stressing us out. I am very pissed and shaking... Why can't we just end this!!!!

Lawyer

We went to see our lawyer today but he wasn't there. we had to give what we had to his legal aid. He is ready for our trial this thursday. We are excited, nervous and scared all at once. Really hoping this, for once, goes our way.

First day off

Today is the first day off for my birthday. It was a nice day. I didn't get paid like I thought but it was still a good day. We hung out and relaxed. We are now laying in bed and going to watch Lost. Tomorrow I should get paid and then we will go out for a bit. Hopefully we can go out to dinner for my birthday. We'll see.

Pay day?

It's Monday morning and I haven't got paid yet. I don't think I will until tomorrow. Melissa is not going to be happy at all. Hopefully she will not be upset all day and be in a bitchy mood. I hate it when she is like that. Logan has off today so that might help a little. I am surprised that he is not awake and our here. It's about 9 am. It would be nice if I did get paid today. I hope today is not a bad day. I have off tomorrow and hopefully tomorrow is not a bad day either.

At work

Tonight at work went ok except for the fact that someone shit on the floor in the bathroom! I had to clean it up and it was nasty. Not worth 7.25 an hour to clean that up!

Not a good day

The day started off ok but went downhill real quick. We ordered lunch and everything we ordered was made wrong! Pissed me off and I had to wait for 2 hours until my correct food came. Melissa is not doing well. Something is going wrong on her computer and she can't get her videos to work. She records them using her iPod and then she had to convert them and rotate them. Well it was all working ok until today. Now it's not and she is very upset. I don't think it's just that but a bit of everything. She was throwing things and slamming things including her iPod. Not very cool especially if she does end up taking it back. Can't do that if it is broken. Not a cheap thing at all. I don't know what I can do. Nothing really, just let her go but if things keep frustrating her she'll get worse. I don't want to go to work and leave her like this cause Logan may just end up frustrating her more if he doesn't listen. Im going to have to though. I just don't know what to do. I want to help her so much, but it's very hard to do.

Thanksgiving

Today was ok. I had to work, that really sucked. I worked from 12-4. Could have been worse. Dinner was great an now we are relaxing.

Today is going good now so far. I got back from the store getting stuff for thanksgiving tomorrow. I called into work saying
I was going to be late because of family issues, I'm really staying so I can cut the turkey when it is finished. LOL Logan is on Gamecube


and Melissa was cooking and playing on her computer and is now on the phone.

Never back to school

I was unable to go back to school. Our landlord decided to be a dick and try to evict us. We have a trial on December 9th. We think we have a good chance of winning. We are very nervous and stressed though because there is a chance that we will not and we still have no place to go to.

School

I had an appointment today at the school. I am going to go for systems specialist. I go back with my tax info on July 6th to sign up with financial aid.

No more kmart

I quit kmart today. Not sure if that was the right thing to do. I am going to try to go back to school for web design. We'll see what happens.

iPod touch

I took back my sony reader and got an iPod touch. Hopefully I can keep this and the battery will work right so I don't have to exchange it.

Work crap

Well, working @ kmart isn't going the way it started. I was supposed to be hired FT, that hasn't happened. Was supposed to have a raise, that hasn't happened...yet. I am very close to quitting.

I seem to have landed on an uncharted world. The life forms are very strange. The use a type of lazer gun, but they do not seem to do damage to others. They just shoot at these odd stickers all day. As I spend more time here I'll try to fit in and try to be treated as one of their own.

Work

It's about the 3rd week that I have been at Kmart. I did like it at first, now not so much. I am so tired at the end of the day and it feels like I have no time in the evenings when I get home. I want to go back to working on AutoCAD and if that means doing civil design again, I will.

No more car

Well, we gave the car back today because I just didn't make enough to keep up the payments, get the windshild fixed, get it inspected and pay insurance. Melissa didn't do too good. She is in a very bad mood now. We are going to see Shrek foreverafter. Hopefully that will cheer her up a bit.

And I thought I was grumpy

So far everyone is in a bad mood today. Everyone that I have talked to so far has had an attitude. Brittany said that the router worked for her, but I don't think it did. She has cable and not DSL so that should not have worked. Either she gave it to her boyfriend or she is going to sell it. That's fine, but sheshould just tell me insted of trying to ovoid me like it looks. Anyway, I'm just in my own world so far today. Just like I like it.

What waste

There is so much waste that these toy makers use to pack toys to ship them. There are 4 toys in this box. They are in their own box each, but then they are also wrapped in plastic and tissue paper. That is a whole lot of waste that is not needed to pack these toys! Ug. Makes me sick sometimes...

Second day

I am on lunch break on my second day of work. My feet and legs hurt and I think I am going to get a blister on my left pinkey toe. I can feel it rubbing. I do like the work so far, I just need to understand it more and what to do. I hope I can get past the first few days/weeks and get in better shape.

i had a mini Red Barron pizza and a dew from the cafe. I was able to get a temp discount card to use, though it is not my number, they had to give me someone elses to use until mine is ready. With using that I saved $1.12 on my lunch.

There is a website (88sears.com) that I can go to and sign in so I can check my pay stubs and some other stuff. I'll have to remember to do that.

First day

This was my first day of work and it went very well. There is a lot to remember but I think I'll do fine.

Eairly morning.

It's 7:08am and we are waiting to get into the Dr. Logan's apt it at 7:30am. We have toawait until 7:15am to get in.

I didn't sleep very good last night. I woke up around 3:00am and couldn't get back to sleep.

Logan is being a brat and I can't say anything around here for fear of someone reporting me again.

Not going well

Melissa is not doing well. She has been having bad thoughts and my need to go into the hospital again. I am trying my best to keep that from happening. I just need to get to her and help he see how much she is loved and wanted.

Went to the park

We went to the park today and had a picnic. Logan had a good time but got real hot. We then went to the mall and walked around.

I am watching Good Eats with the boy. We went to the park by his school and he had a good time playing.

The background check came back ok, so now I am waiting to take a drug test. Should be no prob here. If it doesn't come back by Monday, I have to wait until the following Monday to schedule a time to start work.

Calm before the storm

I start my new job at KMart tomorrow. I am kinda nervous, but excited also. It's not civil design and it is completely different than anything I have done before. I hope there are no bad surprises when I get there.

I activated my Peek again. It is now only $10 a month. I hope I can continue with it. I also got a job @ KMart. They need to do a background check. I hope everything goes ok with that. If so, I start on Wed.

Pay Day

I got my unemployment today. It’s not much, but I do look forward to it so we can get more groceries. We are just slipping by on the food we can get. I don’t want Logan to grow up knowing that we are…well… poor. I hate to say it, but right now it’s true. Without a job and good income, we are poor. On the brighter side, I have an interview at K-Mart on Friday. Not where I would like to work, but it’s better than nothing. I do hope they pay more than minimum wage and I can get a lot of hours. I’ll have to wait and see.

T-Ball

Melissa went to the T-Ball meeting to be head coach for Logan’s team. I was going to be head coach, but I am unable to due to a complete screw up I made when I was younger. I feel real bad about it, but It’s kind of good that I am not head coach cause I have to call all the other parents on Logan’s team and stuff like that. I’m not good at doing that so Melissa is perfect for it. I’ll help out with the drills or whatever, but she can do the PR stuff.

 

Right now I’m putting some Psych Season 4 episodes on my iPod.

Programming work

I have some programming work today on iDocumentsFast for Joe. Need to save the sender’s email address so the user does not need to be logged into EchoSign to use it. Here is a Screen Shot. I am using a new program called ScreenCatch.

Still looking

I’m still looking for  a job. I had an interview at Target and hopefully they will call be back. I signed up at JFC and it looked promising that I may find something there. I got a call saying that I may have an interview but I haven’t heard back.

Holidays

I don’t like Christian holidays. I consider myself Wiccan. My wife is on the fence but is into Wicca also. She does like the traditional holidays, mainly because she grew up celebrating them. I want to start celebrating the Wiccan holidays. It’ll take some time, but I’m going to try.

Still no jobs

Neither me or my wife have been able to find a job! This really sucks. We are applying everywhere we can. Fast Food, Department stores, gas stations, local government, anywhere and nothing. But, my wife does have an interview at a retirement home on Wed. Hopefully she’ll get that one!!

Finally have internet back

We finally have internet back after about a month. I know that is not too long, but when you rely on internet a the time to look for jobs or send files to others, it’s a big pain in the butt to have to go to a wifi hot spot every day to check email. Anyway, it’s all good now. Hopefully I’ll get the job I interviewed for yesterday. I’m just waiting to hear back.

A lot has happened…

A lot has happened over the past weeks. I am still unemployed, but have another interview with PDC Inc. this weekend so I am very hopeful about that. We do not have health insurance anymore and are unable to get Logan’s meds because they cost way too much without it. I was very close to losing my unemployment pay as well but I was able to get it extended. We changed over to a new car insurance company (The General). We had a very bad winter storm and had about a total of 18-24 in of snow!! Really sucked. Our car has a cracked windshield now and I think it was because of the snow but can’t be sure. We did not get our tax refund because it all went to Melissa’s school loan ($4019 !!). We are unable to go bankrupt, get our windshield fixed and get Logan’s meds… Again, I am very hopeful that I’ll get the job with PDC Inc. so things should start working out! Thank the Goddess!!
