We are at Wal-mart this morning. Melissa is hung up on wanting to move to NY. She knows we can't but still keeps talking about it.

I activated my Peek again. It is now only $10 a month. I hope I can continue with it. I also got a job @ KMart. They need to do a background check. I hope everything goes ok with that. If so, I start on Wed.

Pay Day

I got my unemployment today. It’s not much, but I do look forward to it so we can get more groceries. We are just slipping by on the food we can get. I don’t want Logan to grow up knowing that we are…well… poor. I hate to say it, but right now it’s true. Without a job and good income, we are poor. On the brighter side, I have an interview at K-Mart on Friday. Not where I would like to work, but it’s better than nothing. I do hope they pay more than minimum wage and I can get a lot of hours. I’ll have to wait and see.

T-Ball

Melissa went to the T-Ball meeting to be head coach for Logan’s team. I was going to be head coach, but I am unable to due to a complete screw up I made when I was younger. I feel real bad about it, but It’s kind of good that I am not head coach cause I have to call all the other parents on Logan’s team and stuff like that. I’m not good at doing that so Melissa is perfect for it. I’ll help out with the drills or whatever, but she can do the PR stuff.

 

Right now I’m putting some Psych Season 4 episodes on my iPod.

Programming work

I have some programming work today on iDocumentsFast for Joe. Need to save the sender’s email address so the user does not need to be logged into EchoSign to use it. Here is a Screen Shot. I am using a new program called ScreenCatch.

Still looking

I’m still looking for  a job. I had an interview at Target and hopefully they will call be back. I signed up at JFC and it looked promising that I may find something there. I got a call saying that I may have an interview but I haven’t heard back.

Holidays

I don’t like Christian holidays. I consider myself Wiccan. My wife is on the fence but is into Wicca also. She does like the traditional holidays, mainly because she grew up celebrating them. I want to start celebrating the Wiccan holidays. It’ll take some time, but I’m going to try.

Still no jobs

Neither me or my wife have been able to find a job! This really sucks. We are applying everywhere we can. Fast Food, Department stores, gas stations, local government, anywhere and nothing. But, my wife does have an interview at a retirement home on Wed. Hopefully she’ll get that one!!

Finally have internet back

We finally have internet back after about a month. I know that is not too long, but when you rely on internet a the time to look for jobs or send files to others, it’s a big pain in the butt to have to go to a wifi hot spot every day to check email. Anyway, it’s all good now. Hopefully I’ll get the job I interviewed for yesterday. I’m just waiting to hear back.

A lot has happened…

A lot has happened over the past weeks. I am still unemployed, but have another interview with PDC Inc. this weekend so I am very hopeful about that. We do not have health insurance anymore and are unable to get Logan’s meds because they cost way too much without it. I was very close to losing my unemployment pay as well but I was able to get it extended. We changed over to a new car insurance company (The General). We had a very bad winter storm and had about a total of 18-24 in of snow!! Really sucked. Our car has a cracked windshield now and I think it was because of the snow but can’t be sure. We did not get our tax refund because it all went to Melissa’s school loan ($4019 !!). We are unable to go bankrupt, get our windshield fixed and get Logan’s meds… Again, I am very hopeful that I’ll get the job with PDC Inc. so things should start working out! Thank the Goddess!!
